Here are two girls in action. Elisa and her friend Birdie met in the park yesterday for a little running around. Sometimes these two are so similar--they both like the occasional biting and more frequent flailing--that they can rub each other the wrong way. I've watched Elisa steal Birdie's toy stroller and play with her oversized Brobee doll enough times to see how it's going to end. There's usually a little grab action for the same thing or a dispute over personal space. But inside the park, there was plenty of room to run and lots of toys to choose from so things worked pretty well. They both got caked in sand and enjoyed climbing the stairs and going down the slides over and over again. Of course, they eventually gravitated to the same wooden stage area to play and had to learn to share some snacks. But this is good practice. I have a feeling these two will start to team up one day and lord help us when they do.
