Recital Day Again

Today was Elisa's second time performing in a dance recital with Sunnyside Ballet Studio. This time, she worked her hip hop muscles in a song called Rock This Party and she bounced jubilantly around that stage. No nerves. Very few qualms about sitting around the whole day. Considering I was working the event as a photographer, I barely had to tend to her at all which was nice. She hung out with her friends and when it came time to dance in the dress rehearsal, they all did great. Then it was curtain time and Nacho brought Carolina and the requisite bouquets. The line up moved swiftly down to number 22 and it was Elisa's turn to rock it out.  And boy, did she. There's something very natural about Elisa and her movements. I'm always so happy to watch her.  And even though we couldn't stay long at the Lemon Ice King of Corona, we still made a quick pit stop there on the way to taking Nacho to the airport. He returned to Atlanta last night for the next week, and we miss him already. But I'm glad he was there for this special day and I think next year, we're going to have two little dancers. Finally.
