Catching Up on Life

May is one of the loveliest months in New York, in my humble opinion. The flowers start to pop out and the colors wake you up when the skies are gray and dripping. It also helps that we all start to feel like winter is safely over and we are just minutes away from summer. Yes, it's a good time to be living in a little green corner of Queens. And this year more than others, I also realized May is the beginning of our summer social calendar with all the birthdays kicking things off. We added in several more from Carolina's school friends and with the addition of a few nights out for us adults, May already feels positively pumping.
Lulu's birthday party at the park got rained out, but we managed to crash at her place for a bit and get our moustaches on...
Chris's birthday in the East Village meant good beer at Zum Schneider's followed by treats at Big Gay Ice Cream and closing the night with cocktails and illicit Belgian frites at a cocktail bar in the village. This is 40!
The girls got some much needed hair cuts on a half day from school
Just some of the birthday fun...this time bouncy birthday madness for Jasper's 5th!
The Spring Concert at AOC capped off a great week and the sun setting on another night meant this month keeps marching on.
