Okay, I'll admit it...there are a few firsts I'm really looking forward to. The first night they sleep in the same room, the first time I see Carolina run after her sister, the first time they turn their backs on me and say "Mom, go away. We're playing!" But for now, I'll just have to do with the first we shared earlier this week--first bath together. It was very spontaneous and Elisa was elated. Carolina got into the splashing after a few minutes peering into the sudsy water. But it was Elisa who didn't want it to end. She started sobbing when I took Carolina out to dry off and get dressed. She wanted her sister back to play with her. Not even a boatload of toys dumped in the water could make up for her absence. It was so sweet.
