Holiday Boutique

Today was the Sunnyside Gardens Park annual Holiday Boutique, and for the first time ever, we had the event outside. It was something I had been dreaming of for the last couple of years. And so after many conversations with our park Santa, it came to fruition and really, it couldn't have been a better year to try it out. The weather cooperated spectacularly and we had highs in the low 50s. I was working without a coat most of the morning in fact. And by the time the sun started to dip, it was still pretty mild with no wind. We got to see so many kids come out and enjoy the park on a lovely December Saturday and the Santa pics were the biggest and best I've done so far. Many thanks to Quinn O'Sullivan for wrestling a giant 7-foot Nutcracker into our holiday scheme. And to the entire Huderski family for their planning and execution of a wonderful event. I loved seeing the girls jump on Santa's lap with big smiles. It's been our tradition too for the past 6 years, so this was a great way to kick off the month and get the Christmas festivities started. Well done!
