This is what happens when you live in New York City and the bicycle you want is at a store in SoHo. You take the train in to make a day of it and wander around after picking out said bike eating lunch at a trendy little Mexican eatery and generally enjoying a summer afternoon in the city. Until you realize you better make it back to Queens before rush hour hits on the N train. And we did. Then off to the park to test drive it where she did great and we got lots of compliments on the new wheels. Ahhhhh, to be a city kid hitting another milestone. Such a different life from the one I had and I'm so glad to be part of it.
